Day 01: Lima – Iquitos / Cumaceba Lodge - Jungle walk.
In the morning reception at Iquitos’ airport, and after that you will enjoy a short city tour (depend of the arrival time). Transfer to our private harbor to take a speed boat to visit the floating thatch roof houses in the district of “Belen”, located on the edge of the Itaya river, (From November to July) continue traveling down the Amazon River we will arrive at the ecological reserve “Cumaceba Lodge”. The reception will be with a welcome drink made of a typical fruit, accommodation in the bungalows with private bathrooms, typical lunch, and in the afternoon, we will have a long walk in the primary forest to know and learn about medicinal plants and the wild life of the reserve. Dinner and overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.
Day 02: Cumaceba Lodge Bird Watching - Yagua Indian & Small Zoo.
This day early in the morning you will enjoy a jungle walk for bird watching to see the legendary Hoatzin-Shansho. After breakfast we will visit the “Yagua” Indian Village, to see their typical clothing and hear their own dialect, you will see how they use the blowgun, their typical dances, and also, we can buy or trade their handy craft. Typical lunch (self service). Visit to a small zoo to see some local species of animals such as anacondas, sloths, turtles and others. Ride on the Amazon River to seek for the gray and pink dolphins. Nocturnal lake excursion in canoes, to hear rainforest typical sounds. Dinner and overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.
Day 03: Cumaceba Lodge – Paiches - Canoeing.
Early in the morning you will have a boat excursion for bird watching in the island “Isla Padre”. Return to the lodge for breakfast. This day you will visit a private conservation project to protect the Arapaima Gigas - Paiche (The largest fresh – water fish in the Amazon River). After that we will have time for a short walk around the town to see the villagers’ everyday life. Return to Cumaceba Lodge. In the afternoon enjoy a tour in canoe with paddle, special to take photos in the river. Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.
Day 04: Cumaceba Lodge – Lili Pad / Iquitos – Lima.
Breakfast and canoe ride to see the “Victoria regia” the largest aquatic flower of the world. We will also visit another lake to fish piranhas, cat fish, fresh water tropical fish, after this we will return to the Lodge and to have a typical lunch (self service). Return to Iquitos town. Transfer to the airport.

Excelente tour
Esteban fue un excelente guia! Nos llevó desde Cusco hasta Ollantaytambo, haciendo un recorrido turístico bellisimo con múltiples paradas (el valle sagrado, Maras, Moray, salineras, entre otros). Es una muy buena opción para ir a tomar el tren a Machu Pichu y disfrutar del viaje.
Tiene un auto 0km, conduce prudentemente y el precio es muy razonable.

Great person, safe driving, lots of knowledge
Esteban has been one the best person we met in our trip! We were looking for a driver that could take us around in the Sacred Valley near Cusco, and we've been lucky enough to meet him. His driving style is relaxed and very safe. He is such a nice person, polite, flexible and very knowledgable, he has been a taxi driver and a guide. He also has great sense of humor. Willie, our driver, had a wealth of information about the history of the sites we visited around Cusco and in Valle Sagrado. He even suggested some great spots that were not on our plan and charted the best routes to evade the crowds that can overwhelm a visit. He was courteous, flexible and patient with our group of 12 women ( sometimes we differed on the best way to maximize our day but he listened to our requests). He was an amazing driver, you need the expertise to handle the curves and cliffs on some of these roads! The van was very comfortable and clean, plenty of room and big windows.
