Day 01: Rainbow Mountain.Very early in the morning (approx. 4:15 am) we will pass by your hotel in our private transport, then we will leave the city of Cusco towards the south valley, after traveling approximately 2 hours we will arrive at the Cusipata sector (Paucarpata), where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast (scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, fruit salad, hot drinks etc). After breakfast we will continue for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes more until we reach the checkpoint, it is there that we will begin our walk. Previously, our guide will give us the instructions and recommendations of the route to finally begin.
The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until you reach Vinincunca or The Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.). On the way we will observe a large number of llamas and alpacas that are in the care of shepherds dressed in beautiful colorful costumes. Similarly along the way we can see snowy peaks that are part of the slope of the Andes Mountains, among which the Apu Ausangate (sacred mountain) stands out one of the highest mountains in southern Peru; almost upon reaching the top we will observe the change of landscape, at which point we can appreciate the mountain range of Vinincunca or Rainbow Mountain, reaching this point between 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Here our guide will explain us in detail aspects about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain, we will also have time for the most beautiful photos of the mountain of 7 colors, after a little free time we will take the way back to Llaqto, where our vehicle will be waiting. We will continue the return to the Cusipata sector where we will have our delicious buffet lunch. Finally we will take the return route to the City of Cusco arriving at approximately 05:00 pm.

IMPORTANT
Entrance ticket to Machupicchu: The entrance ticket to Machupicchu considered in the program, is for the citadel only, not include the entrance to the mountains like Huaynapicchu or Montaña. Please make an inquiry for the additional cost of each of them.
Hotels: Should there be no availability at the booking time at the chosen hotel, another option of similar category and cost will be provided.
Trains: Train tickets are subject to availability. Should there be no spaces at the booking time on the scheduled train and route, available options will be provided with the new prices and schedules.

Excelente tour
Esteban fue un excelente guia! Nos llevó desde Cusco hasta Ollantaytambo, haciendo un recorrido turÃstico bellisimo con múltiples paradas (el valle sagrado, Maras, Moray, salineras, entre otros). Es una muy buena opción para ir a tomar el tren a Machu Pichu y disfrutar del viaje.
Tiene un auto 0km, conduce prudentemente y el precio es muy razonable.

Great person, safe driving, lots of knowledge
Esteban has been one the best person we met in our trip! We were looking for a driver that could take us around in the Sacred Valley near Cusco, and we've been lucky enough to meet him. His driving style is relaxed and very safe. He is such a nice person, polite, flexible and very knowledgable, he has been a taxi driver and a guide. He also has great sense of humor. We couldn't ask for more, Esteban is totally recommendable!

Willie, our driver, had a wealth of information about the history of the sites we visited around Cusco and in Valle Sagrado. He even suggested some great spots that were not on our plan and charted the best routes to evade the crowds that can overwhelm a visit. He was courteous, flexible and patient with our group of 12 women ( sometimes we differed on the best way to maximize our day but he listened to our requests). He was an amazing driver, you need the expertise to handle the curves and cliffs on some of these roads! The van was very comfortable and clean, plenty of room and big windows.
